I keep getting auto prompts to upgrade to 14.5 however it then says it is not compatible with my Kapersky anti-virus. Do I upgrade?

FF14.5 says it's not compatible with the Kaersky virtual keyboard and the URL adviser. I think the URL adviser is part of the anti virus. I have chose to stay with 12.0 because of these notices?

thanks.

There is no Firefox 14.5, I'm assuming you mean Firefox 14.0.1?

As to your question, you should always update your Firefox, as it fixes security holes that can leave you and your data at risk. As to the Kapersky, you should be able to update firefox, then update Kapersky and your Kapersky add-ons will work. I should mention though that the Kapersky add-ons are not part of your actual anti-virus protection, and do little to nothing to protect you. Even if they are disabled your anti-virus application still runs just fine and you are still protected from threats. You should update to Firefox 14.0.1 (and subsequent releases) as soon as possible.
