Cannot use MBNA Card Services webpage: no account login button appears.
Cannot use MBNA Online Card Services because no personal account login button appears on the initial webpage. However, can access my MBNA card account using their Bank of America site. Also cannot book National Express coach tickets because no continuation button appears after my passenger details have been entered. However the same site works using SAFARI. I have FIREFOX 15.0.1.

Hi,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you. This worked perfectly. i can now view all websites without difficulty. All the activation buttons which were invisible previously have now appeared in their correct places.
No problem :)
Just some information in case it happens again:
Buttons that use background images may not show if you disable the website colors.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.
- Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Clearing the cache and cookies didn't help in this case but completely resetting FIREFOX to its original factory settings has cured the problems.
Why it started to misbehave at all, i don't know, because I made no conscious alteration to the preferences or add-ons, apart from installing the regular updates, as prompted, and adding a different colour to the tabs and home page surround.
A lesson learned is not to blame websites for faults which may originate with one's own set-up.
It is quite startling how different - in colour layout and formating - some sites look after resetting the browser, as well as the improved functionality.
