My Firefox window is slightly bigger than my desktop size, so I get a hold of the bottom corner to resize the window horizontally. Is there any keyboard shortcut or other way to do this?

  • You can resize the window by moving the mouse cursor over any part of the window border, not just the bottom corner.
  • Press Alt+Space to bring up the window menu, press S to choose the Size option, use the arrow keys to resize the window, and lastly Enter to confirm.
  • Click the Maximize button in the top right corner of the window.
  • Click the title bar and drag the window to the left, top, or right edge of the desktop. For details, see Aero snap.
  • Move the cursor over the top or bottom border of the window, until the cursor becomes a double-headed arrow, then double-click the left mouse button.
