See the following article.

Export the bookmarks in Camino to an HTML file and import that file in Firefox.

That's what it is: an htlm file downloaded on my desktop. I've already looked in both Firefox menu at the top of the page in the dropdowns, as well as in Firefox preferences, UNLIKE SAFARI [which gives a link to export or import bookmarks], I see nothing in the Firefox menu or preferences for importing ANY bookmarks, let alone the html file for Camino bookmarks on my desktop.

Firefox needs to include that capability and display a link in either the menu or a preference setting.

If you know a way for me to import the Camino bookmarks on my desktop in html file form, please instruct me accordingly. Thank you.

That's what I did: I exported the Camino bookmarks in html file to my desktop. But I see nothing in either the Firefox menu bar or dropdown, let alone in Firefox preferences, to import bookmarks, let alone off my desktop in html file form.

Why didn't you read the article I linked to in the first reply?

  1. From the menu bar, choose Bookmarks, then Show All Bookmarks.
  2. In the Library window, click the Import and Backup button on the toolbar, then choose Import Bookmarks from HTML.
  3. Select your HTML file from the desktop and choose Open.
