RECENTLY UPGRADED FF 25.0 FAILING TO RESTORE TABS ON REBOOT
The issue is recurring now following upgrading to 25.0 after successive upgrades mysteriously eliminated it. Here is my original thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/952992?page=2
This time - a little different issue.
Settings: GENERAL TAB: https://app.box.com/s/s0h70i7gpvhwfz7ovokr
PRIVACY TAB: https://app.box.com/s/jzim13gur4x5xtt8ew7i
Issue: Upon REBOOT - FF opens to HOME PAGE despite the above settings. Upon REFRESH - FF opens to previously open tabs.

Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes"?
To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
- do not clear the Browsing History
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Clear+Recent+History
Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you want to keep.
As was in my link above showing Privacy tab setting, I have "Remember history" checked.
To answer your question, "Clear history when Firefox closes" is left UNCHECKED.
Now what?

What do you mean with "Upon REFRESH"?
How are you refreshing?
Is "History > Restore Previous Session" enabled?
Does this only happen after a reboot or also after a normal close and restart?
When I said "upon refresh", I meant normal exiting (clicking the "X" or "Exit") and restarting or using a program I installed called Restartless Restart and clicking that. Like I said, all tabs come back up.
When either I reboot or shut down the FF program using Task Manager, only the home page comes up.
Again, this started after upgrading to 25.0.
Where is "History > Restore Previous Session"? I don't see that anywhere.
You may have cleanup or security software that removes the sessionstore.js file if this only happens after a reboot and not after closing and restarting Firefox.
Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
I use AVG. If this were the case wouldn't prior version upgrades have been equally affected?
Anyway, what to do now?
Hello???
This issue remains unresolved. So how am I supposed to know whether AVG removes the sessionstore.js file ???
Where is "History > Restore Previous Session"? I don't see that anywhere.

Because it appears this thread has been abandoned, I had tried to start a nee thread but it was closed and I was told to return to this thread.
Would someone please help me resolve this issue???
