Firefox is saving two copies of downloads
I upgraded my mac at the beginning of the month and downloaded firefox because it is my browser of choice. Ever since then, the way Firefox has been handling downloads is not only strange but quite frustrating.
Before, i used to receive a pop out box asking me where to safe the file. This is good. This correct. This is what i want.
Now, when I save a file, it opens a new tab that looks like a PDF editor that has print and save options on the tool bar at the top (See attached image), and once i click "save" it then has the pop up where to save it box. I had thought that this might be some new update that gives you a preview of what i'm saving - it's an annoying only cause it is an extra step but it is not alltogether the worst thing. HOWEVER i just discovered that when I click download on something, not only does it do the new tab thing i just described, but it also saves a copy in my downloads folder. This is not good. this is incorrect. I do not want doubles of my downloads.
I have "ask before downloading" checked in the settings menu (see attached image).
PLEASE help me make the doubles stop.
