Hello! I'm trying to enter www.bmw-oem-parts.com and it works, but as soon as I try to log in to my account in this site the site just don't work, it says the connection was reset and after this I can't log in to my account. I tried everything and nothing happens. I just tried to log in using Internet Explorer in another website and it worked perfectly. So I guess is a Firefox problem. Can you tell me what to do please? I need to access this site ASAP and Firefox won't let me!

Can you try entering this site and click on "Log In" button at the top menu so you will see it doesn't work??

HELP PLS!

Thx!

I just tried logging on to this site with chrome, and it did not work. "The connection was reset". This is most likely a problem with the website.

Hi! Is not a website problem since I test it with Internet Explorer in other computer and it worked perfectly. So for sure is a Firefox problem. Do you have IE? Try using it and you will see it works :)

Thx!

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.

  • Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Some websites don't fully support certain browsers. if that is the case, then there is nothing to do except request that the site supports it. They could be doing some maintenance on the site that is only affecting communications with Chrome and Firefox. Or you can delete your cookies and clear you cache. See cor-el's post
