Hotkey "Strg + Tab" does not work anymore.
Hello everyone. I am having a problem with my browsing experience and was unable to find a solution.
Using the hotkey "Strg + Tab" does not change between Tabs anymore as it should do. I do not recall having changed anything with my browser, keyboard or general PC setup.
The alternate hotkey "Strg + PgDown" still works as intended. So do the hotkeys "Strg + PgUp" and "Strg + Shift + Tab" to change between Tabs in the opposite direction. The latter also confirms that my keyboard is functional and Firefox does receive the input.
I tried updating to a newer version, but apparently I am already running the most current version, which is 32.0.3 at the moment.
Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
I already had Firefox running with its standard theme and rebooting it into safe mode did not solve the problem. "Strg + Tab" remains nonfunctional.
Are you using the en-US Firefox version or another locale?
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.
