I have no idea why this is so hard to figure out... When I first started using Firefox on this computer, search suggestions worked by default (I think?) But after switching the default search engine, they no longer work in the address bar. I don't want to enable the separate search bar or use an extension, I just want to use bing and some sort of suggestions that aren't my history and bookmarks. Help please?

Hi, You are correct, the current feature to control what the url bar suggests is located in this menu: Firefox Menu > Options > Privacy > Location Bar.

Are you thinking of the add on Omnibar where it also shows search suggestions?
