When I load my banking website "www.nationwide.co.uk" everything is fine, but when I click on "Login" the website "https://onlinebanking.nationwide.co.uk/AccessManagement/Login" should load but it doesn't and the address changes to "https://onlinebanking.nationwide.co.uk/Error/GeneralError" and the host website says "We seem to be experiencing some technical problems."

When I open this website in either IE or Chrome it works fine in both.

Hello,

Try clearing your cookies and cache and then try signing in again.

  • History (or New Fx Menu > History) > Clear Recent History

Or: "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools (or New Fx Menu > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools (or New Fx Menu > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You can also try running in Firefox Safe Mode to see if an extension might be causing the issue.
