Why do my tabs forget where they were?
When I switch to a different tab, it reloads the previous page instead of the current one, and will not go forward back to the page I want, even though the forward button appears to be available, not greyed out like it is normally before using the back button. I'm on Android 4.4.4 on Droid Ultra.

hello ,
the present version of firefox is more efficient in optimizing the RAM.(means: firefox new version is developed for all mobile phones . now it can run even in 256 MB RAM mobiles also ). when you open a web page in a tab .the ff will load that tab perfectly . when you switch to new tab firefox check for available RAM and load new page . if the RAM is not sufficient for remembering the new page . firefox simple stores the link adress and load that page when you switch back to that page again . in this way the firefox will work . present there is answer for your question now . i refer you to go to this link and download a version of firefox which supports your device perfect . http://firefox.en.uptodown.com/android/old thank you .
