Restoring previous session

I am hoping someone can help me restore my previous session. I had to close out Firefox for an Adobe update. Normally, when I reopen Firefox, I immediately go to the History drop-down and click on Restore Previous Session and all is good. This time, the Adobe website came up automatically and I canceled the tab first, then I went to the History drop down to click on restore previous session. But this time, it was grayed out. I'm afraid that by canceling the Adobe page first, it canceled my ability to restore the previous session. I had several pages open that are important to me and I'm looking for a solution or a workaround to restore them.

FYI: Firefox v. 34.0.5

      Mac OS X Yosemite v. 10.10.1

I am not sure if you can restore the session, but you can get the pages back. Go on Menu>History>Show All History, which will be at the bottom. From there you will be able to open the tabs you had open. See attached screenshots if this doesn't make sense.

Hope this helps!!

If you use the Time Machine then check if you have a sessionstore.js file from around that time and restore this file from the backup.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
