How to switch cursor in Firefox to system's default on OS X ?

more options

The progress indicator in Firefox (version 35.0) is different to other browsers and programs on OS X. I know that you can change ui.use_activity_cursor via about:config but that does not do the trick (it's value is true/false not "default/..."). Please let me know how to get rid of this (ugly) "blue spinning thing" to the system's default cursor when something is loading.

Or tell me how to switch it off please. Some other browsers I use don't show any loading progress with the cursor at all (like f.e. Safari). That'll be fine as well. I know that changing cursors with CSS is possible but I've tested this with Firefox. Firefox' behavior does not have anything to do with CSS in this case.
