I've allowed Firefox Hello download a couple of days ago. dwhelper no longer works. I've tested the extensions. As I only have two, dwhelper and lightbeam, this was easy to do.

I use dwhelper a lot. I use online videos from many sources for my physics and astronomy teaching needs.

This is a problem associated with many video sites, not only youtube.

I've deleted dwhelper and reinstalled it. Started and stopped Firefox. Restarted my macbook pro as well.

Program seems to work up to and including window specifying location to place downloading file.

Firefox Hello isn't a separate download - its part of Firefox itself. There's no direct interaction between your browsing and the Hello part of Firefox.

It is most likely that Firefox updated to the latest version, and something in the change meant that dwhelper isn't working as well. I would suggest asking on the extension developer's support site at http://www.downloadhelper.net/documentation.php

According to support thread this thread, there's also a beta version available that might fix your issue.

Unfortunately its hard for us to support extensions, as they are developed by third parties.
