I am trying to install the newest version of Firefox since my old version stopped working and I get a "windows stopped working" error and then the program closes. Another pop up window says that "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." and firefox will not load.

You can download a fresh version of Firefox here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Try installing a new version and let us know whether that works.

If it doesn't work, try the steps in this article: Reset Firefox preferences to troubleshoot and fix problems
