Please consider changing the way master password works. Please prevent it from asking us every time we log in, this is a pain in the arse. Consider rather making it ask us the first time a password is required to be filled in. Sometimes we just browse and don't need to fill in a password but still the annoying pop up window shows in the beginning, and a lot of the time it takes a while.

Peace Out !

The MP is used to encrypt and decrypt the names and passwords that show in the Password Manager, so if Firefox needs access to a stored password then this is only possible after you have entered the MP.

A possible cause for asking at the start is using Sync. The Sync version used in Firefox 34 and later uses the password manager to store the name (e-mail) and password that is used to connect to the Sync server.

Consider rather making it ask us the first time a password is required to be filled. That is the way it works.

If that happens when you first launch Firefox, one of your homepages needs login information and the Master Password box pops up.
