new tab is opening blank how restore it?
1. i installed some app on my windows 8.1 2. it changed my home page new page and default search engine settings. 3. i blocked it from plugins window 4. then i removed the url from about:config window 5. now my new tab is blank 6. i want mt previous new tab with all my thumbnails back. 7. how to do that?

You can do that by following these steps:
- Open about:config
- search for browser.newtabpage.enabled, right click and "reset"
- search for browser.newtab.url, right click and "reset"
Do you have your new tab page back now?
Since this sounds like a virus, I'd also suggest you remove it from your search engines (Remove a search engine) and make sure that no malware still exists on your computer, Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
