Host checker won't complete: loop requesting juniper client installer.

more options

It really is just as described in Juniper newsletter in 2011 or whenever. When log onto a secure hospital vpn, the host checker requests juniper client installer and says activex and Java must be turned on. I save juniper file (only choice save or cancel) then go to downloads and install (run) juniper client. At next step, it loops to offer juniper client installer. This has worked on my win xp laptop, but won't work on win 7 professional dell precision 6600 workstation. Hospital support says use IE 9 (they also like old Java 6. The behavior is exactly as described in multiple entries on first Google search page with several entries from 2011. If it was temporarily fixed by the move to Firefox 8, is the probable cause likely to be the same as in FF7-> FF8? Puzzled!

ActiveX has not been supported in Firefox for years. You will need to use Internet Explorer to run ActiveX content.
