youtube notification
When I use firefox to go to youtube and click the notification bell at top right, it says "Please sign in to view your notifications." where "sign in" is a link. I'm already signed in, and that link doesn't work. See image.
It should show my youtube/google+ notification. It works in chrome, but not in firefox. Last time it worked was almost half a month ago.

Hi bill1
There is no image attached please.
Michael
Strange, let's see whether there is image now.
Nice bill.
I'd suggest you clear out your browser cache, make sure you are logged out all together and login again and let's check if it behaves the same.
It could be a caching issue on your end.
Waiting to hear from you.

I've logged out, cleared cache, youtube & google cookies, and restarted in safe mode. None of them worked. However, when I made a new profile it worked. What should I do to further isolate the cause?
Hi bill1
could be an issue with your profile that you have. With the new created profile, is it functioning correctly?
Yes, a new profile seems to function fine. So what could be the difference? Shouldn't be add-ons because I've tried safe mode and that didn't work.

Must have an issue with the old profile you had. so sorry about that. At times you get a bug or malware that corrupts the profile and makes it go bananas.
Alternatively, you can reinstall firefox with a new stable version to eliminate any security issues.
Kindly let us know if you still encounter the problem with the new profile in use.
Cheers, Michael
