Sent folder error after Thunderbird update 7/18
So after there was a mandatory update on thunderbird, my SENT folder is now empty and cannot save new emails to sent folder!! GREAT UPDATE

What antivirus software are you running? Does the current Trash folder you see, have the special "recycle" icon?
AVG Antivirus 2015
I uninstalled V. 38.1 and reinstalled an older 37 something version and resolved my issue of not getting emails and having lost the items in my sent folder.
I confused this with a different support topic. I should have written, does the current Sent folder have the special postange stamp icon?
