You need to set up the email account to use IMAP. Does your email provider offer this?

Yes, my provider (Vodafone) offer IMAP and POP. I try both, but the problem is not solved.

Thinderbird transfer all e-mails in the INBOX (IMAP and POP) but don't transfer the contents of folders and the folders.

Can you help Please,

Thanks

POP Can only access and download from server Inbox to pop mail account Inbox. This is not a Thunderbird quirk; it's how all pop mail accounts work. Be aware that pop mail accounts usually download and delete the copy on the server. To preserve a copy on Server Inbox: Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings for pop mail account Select : Leave a copy of message on server' click on OK

If you have other folders on server and you want those emails in a pop mail account. Make suitable folders in Pop mail account. Logon to webmail and move emails into webmail Inbox. Do it one folder at a time. In Thunderbird use 'GetMessages' to download to Inbox Then move them into suitable folder. Repeat to download more.

IMAP Imap mail accounts see a remote view of the server folders. You need to subscribe to see those folders. Right click on mail account and select 'subscribe' to see list.

You can also synchronise subscribed imap folders in order to get a copy stored in your Thunderbird imap mail account. See info on synchronising:
