I'm trying to archive over 80,000 messages, as I've just migrated from Eudora. A TB user said to go to account settings > copies & folders > archive options, and choose a monthly folder. Then he said to archive no more than 2000 messages at a time. At first this seemed to work, and TB created three folders for messages this year. But then I tried 3 more times, and all 6000 messages went into the Archive root folder. In other words, TB did not separate the messages into monthly archive folders. Did I do something wrong? Why would TB work exactly as it should, then stop creating monthly archive folders?
