~ Unable to select word/s and highlight for copying
Hello
Firefox won't let me select word/s and highlight for copying. I have tried resetting, uninstalling & reinstalling the latest version, safe started, and something else suggested. Nothing works.
If I don't find a solution, I have to use a different browser --- NOT a good solution.
Isn't there a direct phone number to Firefox support?
Your help is needed! NOW!

PS - I have no problem selecting/highlighting/copying on my android or desktop pc.

Any phone support is a scam.
Do you have the problem on all web pages, many, some?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

I have already started in safe mode - no change. And yes, it happens on all pages/web sites.
Is only the selected text not highlighted or can't you copy possibly selected text to the clipboard as well via Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert?
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that has effect.
Is the problem specific to mouse selection? For example if you press Ctrl+a ("Select All") is the page content selected?
Note: If the cursor is in a form control, Ctrl+a selects the contents of the form control instead of the page.
Or if you press the Tab key to move the cursor within the document, hold down the Shift key, and then press the down arrow and/or right arrow keys, is text selected?
