pc won't start up after latest Firefox update. What's happening!
after downloading a recent Firefox update, pc (windows) can't start up; the Repair screen suggests the operating system was corrrupted by the software change and now the computer hangs up on the Start Repair screen. Nothing happens, even after hours!

Firefox should not have that effect. Did you get it from Mozilla.org ?
If you can't get the repair running, you may have to see a tech. Do you have a boot-up disk?
