How do I follow Adobe's "Flash Uninstall" direction to check the Firefox Browser for the "status" of Adobe Flash? --

I downloaded Adobe's uninstall (for Mac, OSX 10.4ff) and ran it to get rid of old Adobe Flash shards, being very careful to follow the instructions Adobe provided via their website. The last thing they ask you to do is to "Verify that uninstallation is complete" by restarting your computer and then open your browser and check the status of Flash Player. BUT there seems not to be a way to check the status of Adobe Flash Player on current versions of Mozilla-produced browsers. How do I check that the old version of "Flash Player" is really gone?

Firefox 41.0.2, on Mac OS X 10.8.5
