Why is PALIKAN linked to Firefox and how do I get rid of it?
I loaded SparkTrust PC Cleaner to rid my computer of malware. Since then Firefox opens with Palikan browser. The instructions I found on the Palikan web site did not work. I tried to uninstall Firefox with the aim to re-install but cannot do that either? Help please.

Please note that SparkTrust PC Cleaner is considered to be an illegitimate service by many online security sources.
You will need to scan your computer for malware to remove the infection. You can use these free programs if your regular antivirus software doesn't detect the issue:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller

- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
