The last email I received on my main email account through Thunderbird was sometime last night around 10. Since then, I have no received any messages, and I've also got a "popstate-1.dat folder located below my trash for this account. I run two other accounts (all three through Comcast) and have no trouble receiving email from either of them. Webmail version is working fine, and I just checked my email using Thunderbird on another computer. I can also send email. It appears to be just this account and just this profile.

I Googled fixes for popstate-1.dat, and followed prior instances on Mozilla's site. Deleting the files recommended did not fix anything.

At this point, the only thing I can think of is to back up my data, uninstall, and copy my profile to a clean install. I just don't know if I'll be carrying the problem forward.

They walked me through my mail settings and that was pretty much it. The guy I talked to didn't have any particular insight.

Using Nortons by any chance? I assume so since Comcast provide it.

Try checking the firewall component is allowing Thunderbird all versions full access to the internet.

I am using Norton via Comcast. I checked the firewall rules and Norton is allowed, and I ran with it disabled and still couldn't get my email.

To clarify, I disabled Norton Firewall when I say "it."
