I had someone do some work on my emails accounts and it is all messed up. I have 2 email addresses and each has an "Inbox" folder and subfolders "trash" and "junk". Also under Local Folders, I have :trash", "junk" and " send".

Can I rearrange and just have one inbox and the 2 email addresses there and just one of each sub-folders "send", "trash" "archives" and "junk"

That's all perfectly normal in Thunderbird. Did this "work" you had done involve switching to Thunderbird?

Try View|Folders|Unified.

How do I remove "local folder" from my start page? I do not need this account and my other mail account - I don't think - lol

an example: People who use Imap mail accounts will find 'Local Folders' mail account useful for keeping copies in their Thunderbird profile when they need to move them off the server.

Local Folders mail account also has the 'Outbox' folder. This fodler is use dby all mail accounts when opting to use 'Send Later'.

If someone only has POP mail accounts and they want all emails to go into one folder, they can set up 'Local Folders' as a Global Inbox. In this case all pop mail accounts are not displayed in the Folder Pane, so you only see 'Local Folders'.

There is an addon which can used to hide Local Folders, but I'm unsure if it works ok with current version of TB. Maybe worth trying.
