Pofile missing after reinstall on Mac

i uninstalled thunderbird because no one other then my colleagues were getting my emails ( other will get them if i send from my phone) so with new install i get " your thunderbird profile can't be loaded cause it is missing" now I can't use thunderbird again??????????? shouldn't a fresh install would let me make a new profile at least??

open the ~library in Finder? (I do not use a MAC), locate the Thunderbird folder and delete it.

~/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/xxxxxxxx.default/ is given here as your default profile location See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_where-is-my-profile-stored

Look in ~/Library/Thunderbird there is a file there called profiles.ini It is this file which tells Thunderbird were to look for a profile. Delete it then reinstall.
