I would like to know if you can change the layout of the start up page in thuderbird? I have just come over from mail and i liked the format of seeing the email details in the left of the screen and then the message coming up next to it on the right so you can see the entire email without having to scroll down each time to see the contents of the email

view menu > layout > Classic view menu > layout > Wide view menu > layout > Vertical.

Try them all pick the one you like.
