save window has no featues. Can't define filename (bar missing at bottom), browse and all tools missing from top of window.

more options

1) When saving any type of file from a webpage ,etc. The save window has to features. The file name bar (to change file name) is missing. The browse feature at the top as well as the tools on the top right are missing. You are locked into the download folder only.

2) Also when uploading a file you can only choose from items on the desktop. Window is bare just like the save window.

3) when attempting to open folder containing downloads from the upper right toolbar in firefox browser it tells me "class not registered" I also get this error message when attempting to view profile folder in troubleshooting information.

I feel these are all connected. Any ideas on how to resolve? I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and disabled all add-ons,

Hmm, we had a thread a couple years ago where the dialog had the opposite problem: the icon/file list area was missing. A user posted that there is a divider between the two areas that you can drag to resize them so both are fully visible. Screen shots:

However, your dialog looks so different that I suspect there is something else going on here. Could you check out the rest of the thread to see whether anything there helps: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/979612
