I have windows 10 pro 64bit. 2 problems with thunderbird:

- crashing - the received messages often have unreadable characters

What can I do?

P.S. I have tried "Daily (64bit)" but it has more problems than thunderbird....

Please post a crash ID. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozilla-crash-reporter-tb#w_viewing-crash-reports

Make sure you select the correct character set. In a message window: View - Text Encoding

I have tried "Daily (64bit)"

'Daily' is a development version, not a release version. Something can be broken there literally daily. I have no idea why you'd want to use 'Daily'.

Do you have hardware acceleration enabled? Try with it disabled.

Tools|Options|General→Advanced Configuration.

No, I have disabled the hardware acceleration but I have got no benefits.
