I have this same problem on Samsung Galaxy S6. Just started after this past weekend's system update. (Carrier VZW, Software version G920VVRU4CPH1)

FF settings under "Privacy" I have "Clear Private Data on Exit" selected. I have NOT selected "clear browsing history" OR "Clear Search History"

Running FF for Android version 48.0
