I had this problem for months now. One particular website and only that website has been displaying only text and nothing else. I've tried flushing DNS, changing DNS settings, resetting Firefox and clearing cache and none of them worked. I've searched all the forums but no solution. I have Windows 10 and I'm using Firefox. This is what the website looks like:

Cheers.

You can check the log in the Web Console for error messages and the Network Monitor (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) to see if content fails to load or is possibly blocked.

Use Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks and history and cookies and passwords and cache and exceptions, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Sometimes it works and sometimes the website goes back to text only now. Right now it's working. I cleared the cache so I don't see why I should bypass it with a Ctrl-F5. But I'll try forgetting the website when it plays up again. I'll tell you the results when it happens.

Using Ctrl+F5 to bypass the cache avoids losing cache content for other websites if you would care about that. It is also much quicker and easier for a first thing to try.
