More than a month ago, Firefox has started acting really weird. At first many pop-ups would appear without showing anything, (Adblock trying to block them, probably). Some time later, this problem has evolved, I get redirected all the time to annoying ads, my tabs sometimes are closed down, and the page has adds. All this happens while Adblock is installed. I tried other Adblockers, none of them work, if not, they did worse. I tried to search for unwanted software on my PC, but there is nothing odd, I always check before downloading something to see if it has additional tab extensions or anything like that. I ran multiple scans on my PC, to check for threats, none. I also looked in the add on section on Firefox to see if there was anything unwanted, again, nothing. Are adds getting smarter or am I getting more stupid ? Please help. Bless.

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
