Emails stop receiving on mac

Have not been able to receive emails in Thunderbird on my mac recently. I have a charter.net email account. Could the problem be that I am receiving emails on too many devices (iphone, ipad, and Apple Watch)? If I do a restart on my mac, I then receive emails for a short period of time and then it quits again until I do another restart. Any suggestions?

There was a similar problem with GoDaddy recently which did affect many people, and GoDaddy were simply denying there was a problem at all. In the end they silently fixed it, whatever the problem was.

There have been a lot of complaints in this forum recently from people using Charter about the very same problem. You'll need to talk to Charter. Tell them you're not the only one with the problem.
