Using "insert an image" seems to do nothing. Image preview does not appear. Nothing appears in the e-mail. I have no confirmation that the image was inserted.

Simply pasting the image in the body text yields nothing.

被選擇的解決方法

The image should be stored in a folder on your computer, but not in thunderbird.

When inserting the image do you do this: In new Write message - Enter content or click in the content area to have focus in that area.

  • Insert > Image
  • click on 'choose file' ,
  • locate image stored on computer and click on 'Open'
  • select: 'attach this image to the message' (this must be selected)

Options to Adjust the dimensions of image to suit

  • Click on 'Dimensions' tab
  • Select: 'Custom size' and 'Constrain'
  • Change width to eg: 200 pixels - Height is auto adjusted

Option to Set image to be a clickable link:

  • Click on 'OK' to insert the image.
