my autocorrect addon has stopped running

I recently updated thunderbird to version 45.1.1, since then my TB auto correct stopped running, I also found another mms autocorrect and this also doesn't work, if anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful, I'm use a macbook air on IOS 10.8.5
