I currently have several identities and several sub folders within these. At the moment when I receive my 200 plus emails a day I sort them into their relevant folders which all need a specific generic response. At the moment I have set up all of the responses in the manage Identities so when I go into that particular folder I respond to all of the emails with exactly the same drop down response for that particular identity.

I'm currently trying to streamline my time and I don't know if there is a way of setting up some kind of automated process so that when an email is put into a specific folder all of the emails in that folder receive the same email response. The responses would be different for each folder.

I can't seem to see how to do this without doing a bcc which I don't want. I need to have individual emails in the sent folder after.

Help!

let me get this. You want to reply to everyone in the folder every time a new mail is added. Sounds like you are trying to use Thunderbird as a list server. If that is the case you are probably better off using the right tool for the job https://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/

Or is only the latest sender getting a reply, in which case you could use filters to send a reply using a template. You could probably use the same filter to sort your mail into the folders in the first place.
