DOES THE FIREFOX SYNC ONLINE RETAIN THE FOLDERS STRUCTURE FROM THE FIREFOX BROWSER PROGRAM?
I get the idea that the bookmarks in the Fx Browser are synced to an Firefox sync online destination. If correct, (1) what is that url for later access, (2) if the bookmarks are synced to that url are the bookmark folder structures retained intact just as the exist on the browsers bookmarks program.
If the is some sort of an "how to" page for Firefox sync, please provide that url also. win7 x64 running both firefox & chrome Thank you for your assistance in advance, Jim

Hi
Thank you for your question.
Please appreciate that there is no online storage that you can access you Sync data in. Yes, it does pass through a server, but there is no long term storage and no way that you can access that data directly. The server it passes through holds the data in temporary encrypted storage, long enough for it to Sync with another instance of Firefox.
The folder structure you are using should Sync across, so you should still find the same bookmarks in the same folders.
I recommend that you have a read of this walk through that will help you to set up Sync on your computer.
I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
