被選擇的解決方法

Hmm, how do you know the redirect is being blocked -- is there some kind of message?

Do you remember changing any settings or adding any new add-ons before this problem began?

Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Any improvement?

I hope you are not trying to defeat a paywall or expect us to help you do that.

If you are getting a bar sliding down between the toolbar area and the page with an Allow button for redirects:

I suggest turning off the redirect warning. It was intended to help users with screen readers avoid confusion when the page changed, and was never intended as and rarely is useful as a security feature.

You can turn it off here:

Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences

In the left column, click Advanced. Then on the right side, make sure the "General" mini-tab is selected.

If it is checked, uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

Success?

Thanks, the deletion of the "warning" (never got any warning, anyway) and clearing cache didn't remedy. I've had other websites suddenly become unavailable (cell phone provider, utility provider). I've loosened some security re: cookies, but it doesn't appear to matter.

Thanks! That worked - now I will slog through testing out the add-ons to see what interfers.
