The option "warn when websites try to redirect" does not work when abcnews.go.com redirects automatically to an annoying beta version, how to stop redirection?

I am trying to stop redirection to abcnews's beta redesign, but it always occurs automatically even though the option not to allow re-direction is checked in Firefox, is there something wrong with the way it is implemented in the browser?

被選擇的解決方法

The accessibility feature of warning users of screen readers about a site wanting to redirect only targets a small number of ways that sites can redirect. Sites can easily work around it. If you want to block that, you'll need to find a relevant add-on.

I visited the website and it appears that there is no redirection. A redirection only occurs when the URL in the Firefox address bar changes.

I've attached a screenshot of the website which loads on my browser. If your browser loads something different, please let us know.

The website doesn't always redirect, but when it does, the url in the address bar does change, first to https://abcnews.go.com/beta, and in a few seconds again a second time back to http://abcnews.go.com. You must have hit it on an occasion when it didn't redirect, which happens now and then to me too.
