Although it was not a problem before the problem started only recently.I have somehow solved the problem. There is a button in the URL bar that says "Tracking attempts blocked".Disable it for the session and the "Preparing your dashboard" goes to my account. So it has something to do with Talktalk.

hi, can you explain in more detail what "it has stopped working" means - what exactly goes wrong in the process/are you receiving an error message?

To login Talktalk Myaccount one enters one's email address and then password. Then the process starts checking your account details and continues until it says "preparing your dashboard".This is the point where it freezes and stops working.I have accessed my Talktalk account many times using Firefox without problem until now.
