When dragging files from download manager to the desktop (or other folder) the files dont end up there. Instead it creates a .txt file with the name and some linking. Inside the file is a link to the file (in this case file:///home/magnus/Dokument/new_identity-logo-firefox.png). It was not like this before, dragging have been working like expected (moving the file) but now stopped working. The problem is the same if i press "Show all downloads" and try dragging from that windows ("Library").

Firefox 48 in Ubuntu 14.04.

You can't do that from inside Firefox. Have Firefox open the download folder, then work from there.

Well, it worked before, up until like a month ago. Before that it worked for the last years.

People here have the same problem: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=227993

Could it be related to Linux instead of Firefox?
