Equally distributing emails to other addresses.

more options

Hi, All email are currently being sent to one account, however we were trying to set it up so we could keep that address but any email sent to it would be equally shared between 3 people. For example if the email address that people knew was "steve@yahoo.co.uk" would it be possible to share any email sent to this address with 3 other people. It would be preferred that all 3 accounts did not get the same messages as it would confuse matters, but if its possible to distribute them equally that would be great.

You have a stream of incoming messages on this account -- let's refer to the messages as 1,2,3 ... What you want is for message 1 to go to responder A, message 2 to go to responder B, and so on? Have I understood that right? If so I can't think of any way to achieve that, sorry. Maybe others in this forum can help you, but it sounds like a very specialised request. The only way I can think of would be to have the incoming mail sent to an IMAP account. Then responders A, B and C could all log in to the same account and see the same messages. I guess there might be a problem if more than one person tries to respond to the same message at the same time, but if you had a system of tags or flags that worked with the account you could maybe label different messages for attention by different responders?
