How can I change my CAs in Firefox Mobile

more options

Dear Mozilla,

Firefox Mobile seems to lack the ability to add or remove Root CAs from the browser. This is a problem because I have my own CA that I use for the TLD .senor. I would like to be able to add my certificate to Firefox and not have to use Chrome to browse my .senor TLD. I looked for addons as a simple workaround, but they all seem to either be for PC Firefox or are so outdated that they no longer work on Android. Thank You!

Hello SenorContento, In Firefox Mobile, the ability to manage certificates was not ported across from the desktop version.

Better yet this can be a potential solution : You can import the CA file by downloading a PEM version of the CA certificate in the browser. Just upload a copy of the PEM formatted certificate to a webserver and download the file with the browser to install.

Please let us know if the this answer helped you solve your problem. Thank you :-)

Okay, thanks! I just wish Firefox Mobile had another way besides importing it from a website. I couldn't even work as a file in the .pem format. It just displays the raw contents. Maybe one day Firefox will either have its own editable keystore, use Android's keystore, or even better, let the user choose which keystore to use.
