My history, downloads and bookmarks missing from library. How can I fix the library?
Everything was going great with Firefox 5.0 and then, I wanted to organize my bookmarks and selected "show all bookmarks" from the menu and only three bookmarks are listed. No history, downloads or anything except one folder that reads, "Bookmark Menu" with three of my 200 bookmarks.
My bookmarks on the browser's drop-down bookmark menu also disappeared except for three of them. So i followed the instructions on how to restore bookmarks. That worked well for the file menu bookmarks, however, the library still is blank except for three bookmarks. I cannot view my downloads or all my history anymore.
If anyone has any idea how to fix this problem, please let me know. I love using Firefox and really miss my library.
I'm running Windows 7 on a 64x desktop with Firefox 5.0 Thanks for reading, Nancy

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.
Flash Player Version: 23.0.0.207 Flash Player (Linux) Version 11.2. 202.643

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, Win IE . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download.
See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
What you see in the Bookmarks Manager, are they bookmarks, or folders?
Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
