How can I silence sounds from Firefox as it responds to a commend?
Firefox used to work quietly. After one of the periodic updates it started to use sounds to indicate it was responding to a command (request). I find these sounds very annoying. I've looked through the settings (preferences, options) I could find without success.

Firefox has one sound, for the Find bar.
