Popup Locked Out Site During Login
In reference to version 50.1.0, while trying to log into a streaming video site your constant popups caused the site to lock me out without any message stating whether or not I used the correct password. How are you going to cut this out?

Hi troothteller, what kind of popup is it? Is it related to saving your login, or something else?
If you are getting the orange page pushing a .js download, that is a malware distribution site and not a Mozilla site. The redirects leading t those pages seem to be distributed through advertising networks, so if you are not already using an ad blocking add-on, this might be the time to consider one. For example: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

The site has nothing to do with Mozilla; so the user should be able to use any browser. It is a legitimate site to which I subscribe. The popup is Mozilla's usual, annoying one that you seem to know about, asking whether or not to save login information which I never do.
If you never save login information, you can disable that feature on the Options page (I do that myself). It's on the Security panel:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
In the left column, click Security. Then on the right side, clear the checkbox for "Remember logins for sites" and that should take care of it.
More info on this feature: Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox
Does that work?
Thank you. I did as you suggested; but over time I will be able to see whether it works. Thanks again.
