Why cann't I copy and paste addresses form the addressbook
I have two complaints about the addressbook in thinderbird or two possibities to make it better:
1) I cannot select, copy and past addresses and other info from the addressbook. I first have to click it and open it in the editor.
2) When I make a selection of addresses in the address book the selection dissappears as soon as I opened of the selected addresses or removed one of the addresses in the list. I have to make the selection completely over again.

Install this add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/addon/select-address-book-text/
Can't help with the 2nd issue, but for the first one see this. Note that this works for multiple selections of contacts.
